Name: Korra
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Element: Avatar ;P
Companions: Naga the Polarbeardog
Resides In: Travels worldwide; Mostly the Southern Water Tribe or Republic City
Appearance: Average height, slightly taller. Has fair, olive skin, normal for the Water Tribe. Lean build, yet buff at the same time. Hair is a dark brown, almost black color, usually pulled into three ponytails--two on each side of the head, and one in the back. Eyes are a brilliant light blue color. Usually wears a tight pale blue, sleeveless shirt; In cold weather, she wears a traditional hooded Water Tribe coat; Has dark blue sweatpants under a brown skirt-thing with fur lining; Never takes off her boots ;P As accessories, she wears wrist bands, with an arm band on her right arm.
Personality: Tough, but breakable. Is always a badass, and is especially protective of those she loves. She believes in what's right, and will defend those who need her, no matter who it is. She's kind and considerate, and easy to make friends with, if you get on her good side. She'll go against even the law, if it means she can save just one more person. If she's hurt emotionally, she'll hide it, and let her feelings roll over her on her own time; she doesn't believe in burdens. And if you do something to somebody she cares about, you won't live to see nightfall.
Backstory: During her first years, Korra's family quickly learned that she was the Avatar. At age four, she became fascinated with the always-lit fire in the hearth, and her parents soon found she could control its movements. Not that long after, they also realized that as they taught the basics of waterbending to her--which she was learning extraordinarily fast--she would tend to pound on ground in frustration of any mistakes. And really pound on the ground. She made some dents in the floor that cost a fortune to fix.
A couple of years afterwards, Korra's parents sent a message to the Order of the White Lotus, claiming that Korra was the Avatar. After some arguments, it was finally decided that she would be taken to a compound a couple miles away from home to master the first three elements.
On Korra's ninth birthday, while she was still learning Earthbending,
her dad brought over to the compound the perfect gift for when she felt alone: a Polarbearpup. The tiny Polarbeardog kept the young Avatar company when nobody else would. They made an unbreakable bond with eachother that would last forever. So as they both grew, they went nowhere without the other. Even as Amon was defeated, and balance was regained after the war, the two best friends were right by eachothers' sides. Nothing would ever separate them, as long as they lived.
